Child of God
So, yesterday was a pretty special day for me. They say it was as important as the day I was born! That's right, people, I was baptized!! (finally!) Yay! I had a great day and I'm looking forward to lots of special memories with my Godfather Shane and Godmother Barb. I wore a very special gown - in fact, my Daddy wore the same gown, and my Grandpa Pat bought it for my Daddy in Paris! Whoa! (I don't know where Paris is but I guess that's a big deal.) Also, my Grandpa Pat was my Godmother's Godfather, which is also neat, if that's not too confusing for you. :) We have LOTS of pictures from the day to share with you, so get ready! Oh yes! And, I was excited that Fr. Greg was able to baptize me, as he also got to baptize my sister, and Mommy has been friends with him since college. So, that's neat too! Enjoy the pictures!
Dressed and ready to go! Oh, by the way, can you make out my Jayhawk booties?? Oh yes, I was baptized a Jayhawk. ;)
Me and the Parents.
"And I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
My crew. (Hmm....uh, Mom, those socks look kinda ridiculous...you're such a dork.)
Me with my Godparents and Fr. Greg.

Time for pictures!
With Godmother Barb.
With Godfather Shane.
I am loved!

Looking all preppy for my After-Party.
Cake!!
I'm special!!
Standing! (Nope, can't get up there on my own - I need someone to prop me.) :)
Assume the position. And....GO! (or...just rock and stay there....) ;)
Grandpa Steve is silly.
Opening gifts!
This is delicious!! THANK YOU!! Just what I've always wanted!!
Me and The Godfather. ;)
What a good day!! :)

7 Months
So, I've been 7 months for almost a whole month now, which actually makes me....just about 8 months. Ha! It's been a busy one, people. Mommy's birthday, swimming in our living room, Valentine's Day, learning to stand, learning to crawl, not to mention sleeping on my tummy, swimming for real and swings at the park, which are three big events Mommy doesn't have pictures of. But, wanted to share the plethora of pics we DO have from this busy month! Life is getting fun, people. I can't wait for more!! Bring on the pics!!!
What?? There's something on my face? Where??
Happy Birthday to Mommy!
Um, nice face, Sis.
Swimming inside?? This is ridiculous...the things I do to make my Mom happy...
Um, Sister, there's, uh, some stuff on your head...
Well, I guess this isn't too bad...Is this stuff edible??
"Swimming" in wine corks. Should I be worried about my parents???
His and her Snowman Jammies! (They were supposed to be matching jammies for Christmas. Until I threw up all over mine on Christmas Eve. Whoops.)
Ladies. How are you?
Our dad. We love him.
Big grin for Mommy whilst opening Valentine's Day presents.
Rock Chalk!
Been on the move a bit lately. I started out in the middle of my gym...and here I am underneath the table. :) How'd that happen??
Standing!! Playing with (destroying) the trains!
Roar!! Look out town!! I am Giant Baby! Here to destroy you allllllll!!!!
Oh. Hi Mom.
Look at meeee!! I'm a big boy!!

Family Pictures
Hello Again, People.
So, yet to be posted on my blog is a picture of my whole family. Only a few of these exist, and they were all on my Grandma Jo's camera. Today my Dad downloaded her pictures onto our computer, so now I can look at them whenever I want! Here are some from the past few months. I'm not sure if one exists before Halloween.....if you are reading this and you have a picture of all 4 people in my family, please send it to my Mommy! (or my Daddy) :)
I'm out.

6 Month Pictures
What up friends.
So, I realize that I have posted in awhile. Sorry, yo. I've been busy fighting colds, growing teeth (I have my front two bottom ones!), wrestling with The Sister, etc. I have a LOT to catch up on! First, I want to share some pictures of me that my Mom took to celebrate my 6 month birthday. And, psssssttttt....I'll share a secret with you....these pictures were not really taken on my 6 month birthday, even though the sign says they were. My 6 Month birthday was Christmas Eve, and we were a bit busy that day, not to mention sick. :) So, really, the sign should say "Today is my 6 Month Birthday + Change." :) Enjoy, peeps!
Talk to ya.

Merry Christmas!!
What up friends.
So. Christmas. Not my favorite holiday, people. Know why?? 'Cuz I was sick on Christmas. I totally got jipped out of my first Christmas, which is a sad, sad thing. Sick with what, you ask? Well, after I visited Children's Mercy Urgent Care on Christmas Night (Yup. Christmas NIGHT. Suck.), we found out I had double infections, and they guessed I probably had RSV/Bronchiolitis, as I have/had a HORRIBLE cough, people. It's bad. And it makes me throw up. Don't you feel so sorry for me?? Totally want a Christmas re-do, but Mom says my birthday will be here soon enough, and I'll get to experience the whole present-opening thing all over again. Know why it'll be here soon?? Because, people, I am 6 MONTHS OLD! Yup, you read that right! I turned 6 months old on Christmas Eve. Can you believe I am so old? 20.5 more years until I can legally share a brew with my Dad. Also, I visited the doctor's office today (AGAIN) for my 6 month visit, and I weighed in at 18.5 pounds (my recent throwing up may have skewed that a bit) and 27.25 inches long.
Well, even though I felt pretty yucky all throughout my family's Christmas celebrations, my parents still managed to get some decent pictures. Enjoy! And Happy New Year, all!!

Me and The Sister. Gearing up for the Holidays.
Meeting The Big Man for the first time.
Hmmm....not quite sure what to make of him.
Christmas Eve. Riiiiiiiiight before I started feeling really yucky.
With my two favorite lady friends. For right now anyway. ;)
Mommy.
Daddy.
And Grandma Jo.
See my eyes? Starting to go dooooown hill. ;)
Starting to feel really crappy. :(
And.....OUCH!! MY EARS!!! MY EARS HURT!!!
'Twas a pretty rough night for me after this picture, and Mom and I skipped Christmas Day Mass so I could rest, but she and I DID play a little with my present from Santa - and I actually felt good enough to have a bit of fun!! See??
Merry Christmas!
This thing is fun! (And what a great pic of me sitting up by myself!)
A great Christmas grin! Fighting through the pain! ;)
Sporting my spiffy Christmas shirt!
Getting loved on by My Gran.
Sigh......attempting to get into the whole present-opening thing. Could only really cope with life by sitting in the swing. (A touch too dramatic, you say?? Have YOU had double ear infections on Christmas???? Then shut it.) ;)
Hanging with Uncle David.
Post Urgent Care Visit - the Day after Christmas, one dose of antibiotic and MOTRIN. Starting to feel a little better!
Posing with The Sister in our Christmas Tees.
Me and Uncle Francis.

All in all, it wasn't as horrible as I'm making it sound, but it's such a total drag being sick on Christmas, people. I just felt so poopy. :( But, I'm looking forward to NEXT year, when I will be 18 months old on Christmas Eve!! Yippee!! And if The Sister thinks she's going to get away with opening my gifts for me NEXT year, she's got another thing coming...They're mine, ALL MINE!!! :) Merry Christmas, everyone!!
