Merry Christmas!!

What up friends.

So. Christmas. Not my favorite holiday, people. Know why?? 'Cuz I was sick on Christmas. I totally got jipped out of my first Christmas, which is a sad, sad thing. Sick with what, you ask? Well, after I visited Children's Mercy Urgent Care on Christmas Night (Yup. Christmas NIGHT. Suck.), we found out I had double infections, and they guessed I probably had RSV/Bronchiolitis, as I have/had a HORRIBLE cough, people. It's bad. And it makes me throw up. Don't you feel so sorry for me?? Totally want a Christmas re-do, but Mom says my birthday will be here soon enough, and I'll get to experience the whole present-opening thing all over again. Know why it'll be here soon?? Because, people, I am 6 MONTHS OLD! Yup, you read that right! I turned 6 months old on Christmas Eve. Can you believe I am so old? 20.5 more years until I can legally share a brew with my Dad. Also, I visited the doctor's office today (AGAIN) for my 6 month visit, and I weighed in at 18.5 pounds (my recent throwing up may have skewed that a bit) and 27.25 inches long.

Well, even though I felt pretty yucky all throughout my family's Christmas celebrations, my parents still managed to get some decent pictures. Enjoy! And Happy New Year, all!!

Talk to ya - Connor

Me and The Sister. Gearing up for the Holidays.

Meeting The Big Man for the first time.

Hmmm....not quite sure what to make of him.

Christmas Eve. Riiiiiiiiight before I started feeling really yucky.

With my two favorite lady friends. For right now anyway. ;)

Mommy.

Daddy.

And Grandma Jo.

See my eyes? Starting to go dooooown hill. ;)

Starting to feel really crappy. :(

And.....OUCH!! MY EARS!!! MY EARS HURT!!!

'Twas a pretty rough night for me after this picture, and Mom and I skipped Christmas Day Mass so I could rest, but she and I DID play a little with my present from Santa - and I actually felt good enough to have a bit of fun!! See??

Merry Christmas!

This thing is fun! (And what a great pic of me sitting up by myself!)

A great Christmas grin! Fighting through the pain! ;)

Sporting my spiffy Christmas shirt!

Getting loved on by My Gran.

Sigh......attempting to get into the whole present-opening thing. Could only really cope with life by sitting in the swing. (A touch too dramatic, you say?? Have YOU had double ear infections on Christmas???? Then shut it.) ;)

Hanging with Uncle David.

Post Urgent Care Visit - the Day after Christmas, one dose of antibiotic and MOTRIN. Starting to feel a little better!

Posing with The Sister in our Christmas Tees.

Me and Uncle Francis.

All in all, it wasn't as horrible as I'm making it sound, but it's such a total drag being sick on Christmas, people. I just felt so poopy. :( But, I'm looking forward to NEXT year, when I will be 18 months old on Christmas Eve!! Yippee!! And if The Sister thinks she's going to get away with opening my gifts for me NEXT year, she's got another thing coming...They're mine, ALL MINE!!! :) Merry Christmas, everyone!!

November Update

What up, Friends?

Been a fun fall thus far. I've been digging the changing leaves and cooler temps - my carseat is a LOT more comfortable when it's cooler outside. And, Mom got me this sweet hat that has a FIRETRUCK on the side. It's cool. I've been growing a ton, too - I'm now wearing 6-9 month stuff, and some of my straight-up 6 Month clothes are fitting kinda snug. Pretty crazy, since I just turned 5 months last week. Also, I recently had another doctor's appointment, and I was 17.3 pounds and 27 inches long. That means I've put on almost 10 pounds since I was born, and I've grown half a foot. Dudes. I'm huge. Also, I've advanced in the food department - I've recently chowed on some sweet potatoes, squash, and prunes. But my favorite item to eat? My toes. I love 'em. I go at them EVERY diaper change. Yum yum!

Oh yeah, I also rolled over for my Old Man the other day. Haven't done it yet for Mom. Just keeping it between us dudes for now.

So, I've got some pics for you. Some of my sister and me playing in the leaves. Some of me looking handsome. And some of me from Thanksgiving, my most recently celebrated holiday. Enjoy, people!

"Playing" with The Sister. Just wait until I'm bigger than you, Sis.

So, these are leaves, huh?

Is this supposed to be fun? ;)

Whatever.

I adore my Dad. His voice is one of the best things ever.

You think the blue eyes will stick?? Let's hope so - they've already won over Mommy!

Maybe my blue eyes can help me with my future job?

Love my Gran.

And my Grandpa.

And my Grandma Jo.

And my hand. :)

Happy (belated) Turkey Day!!

4 Months - Traveling, Trick-or-Treating, & Eating, OH MY!

What up people.

It's been a fun last few weeks. I've been reaaaaalllly busy, not that I really have any say in it - my Mom really keeps us moving, you know?? Let's see....since I last wrote, I've celebrated Halloween, taken my first ride on Daddy's shoulders, played in a tent with my sister, had my first bites of rice cereal, gone on my first airplane ride (to TEXAS!), and played in the leaves! Here are the pictures - enjoy!! Feel free to admire my handsomeness as you browse. ;)

Yum. Halloween treats! And stickers! FUN!!

Trick-or-Treat! I'm a Monkey!

Yup, TWO little monkeys. Be afraid.

Hanging in our very first tent that we made with Mommy. I'll help a little more next time we make one. ;)

Mom's attempt to get me to sleep longer - rice cereal. It's working, kinda. But, man, the stuff seriously sucks. As you can clearly see from my expression.

Seriously, WHAT is going in my mouth?????

I am not amused.

Hey! So, this is kinda fun.... :)

See??? See???? FEET!!! They're so COOL!!!

With my Mom and The Sister on a vintage train in Grapevine, TX. It was pretty fun!! Choo-choo!!!

Texas is FUN!!

While in Texas, we went to our friends Brynn and Bradyn's house. Here is my sister giving Bradyn a hug good-bye and falling on top of me. Yeah, never mind me, sis, I'll just lay her, defense-less. Thank God for my Gran, who saved me.

I love my Gran. She and I were buddies in Texas, because my sister caught a stomach bug and hogged Mommy's attention.

My Mom's horrible attempt at a cool picture. I didn't feel like cooperating. But, that's our plane in the background. Whatev.

I'm not sure how I feel about this hat. Why are you laughing??

That's it people. Have a good Thanksgiving. And, just to prove that I'm a funny guy....this one's for all you ladies out there....

Almost 4 Months!

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to check in really quick to share some pictures of my growing cuteness. That's right, folks, I'm one handsome devil. :) It's been a fun month. I met my Uncle Dave. He's cool. Been to see my buddy Robert (and the rest of his fam) up in Minnesota. That was quite the long roadtrip, but I came out of it ok, although Mommy and Daddy seemed really pooped when we got home. I've also been to a few pumpkin patches....don't really see what the big deal is about those, but maybe they'll be more fun next year when I can walk. Other than that, I've just been chilling here at home with the fam, learning new things every day! I've recently discovered that I have feet!! They're fun to grab. I also really enjoy playing in my jump-a-roo, talking, and laughing! That's my new trick - I especially like to giggle at my Dad and my sister. They're pretty goofy. Enjoy the pics and the video at the end.

Talk to ya.

Me and The Sister

Tummy Time is much more tolerable now that I'm bigger. :)

Ready for a Chiefs game! (turns out they lost. boo.)

That's right. I'm so cute, it IS scary.

Meeting my Uncle David for the first time. He's cool.

I have a pretty cool big sis, I guess. One night when Mommy was cooking, I was pretty sad and lonely in my swing. Emily brought her chair into the red room to hang out with me, all on her own. That was pretty cool of her. Made me stop crying!

Here I am hanging at my buddy Robert's house, in MN.

Dude. I do not find these Pumpkin Patch places enjoyable. What's the big deal anyway?? I'm still in this darn carseat!

Life. Whatcha gonna do??

Me and Robert. I'd sit up, if I, um, could.

Whoa. What was that? (Go Jayhawks, by the way.)

As promised in my earlier post, a picture of me in my hospital bed. So sad. But I'm all better, so it's ok. :)

And, finally, here's a fun video of my Dad and me. Daddy's making me giggle. He's so goofy. Enjoy!
